James Lindsay, President

James Lindsay

For over 30 years, James has dedicated his career to public service and building vibrant communities. With over half of that time spent in executive roles within local government, he understands the intricacies of navigating complex challenges, mentoring others, and driving impactful change.  

James honed his project management skills during a successful period working in the fast-paced home building industry. This experience broadened his perspective, fostering a deep understanding of development needs and their relationship with public services.

Being a strong communicator, adept at explaining complex policy issues to diverse audiences, James believes in transparency and open dialogue, ensuring everyone feels heard and understood. James, and teams he has led, have spearheaded initiatives that streamlined permitting, enhanced communication, and empowered residents to participate actively in shaping their communities.  

 As a creative problem solver and consensus builder, he finds common ground and crafts innovative solutions often re-imagining systems and processes to benefit all stakeholders. Originally from Santa Clara County, James and his family now reside in beautiful Placer County.  Please contact James for a more detailed career history.


Dodi Lindsay

With a passion for creating supportive environments where all students can thrive academically, Dodi brings over nine years of experience as a Credentialed School Nurse to her role. Her journey in school healthcare began in Santa Clara County's largest school district, where she honed her expertise in student health support, clinical skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Dodi's academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Nursing, providing her with advanced knowledge in healthcare principles and nursing processes tailored to educational settings. This combination of hands-on experience and formal education has shaped her into a versatile and insightful school health professional

Since relocating to Placer County, Dodi has found her niche in a crucial area of Special education  support. She now specializes in assisting school districts to achieve compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. Her strong nursing judgment and creative problem-solving skills make her an invaluable asset on the special education team.

Dodi's approach to school nursing goes beyond traditional healthcare. She sees her role as a bridge between health and education, ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed. Whether she's managing complex health conditions, advocating for inclusive practices, or collaborating with teachers and families, Dodi's goal remains constant: the health and safety of the students.

With a commitment to continuous learning and a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of student health within the educational setting, Dodi continues to significantly impact students' lives, one day at a time.
